PawZaar Launches Fundraising Program

Austin, Texas – PawZaar, the online store for pet lovers that lends a helping paw, has launched its Helping Paw fundraising program. Pet lovers and rescues can sign up for an account, share their unique links with friends and family, and earn $10 per item sold to go toward pet care.

“This past year, we have found ourselves facing many vet bills with our pets—and watching fellow pet lovers struggle to pay,” recalls PawZaar founder Paris Permenter. “We hear from so many readers who are desperately trying to raise money for their own pets’ surgeries and rehabilitation or they’re trying to raise money to assist a favorite pet rescue.”

Although a portion of every sale helps to sponsor the care of a shelter pet, Permenter says they felt like they needed to do more.

“And so we came up with the Helping Paw program as a way to give pet lovers the option of raising money by selling pet-themed jewelry and bags to their friends,” says the Austin-based pet lover. “I know many people are using crowdfunding donation sites to help raise money but many pet owners struggle with asking for cash—or they need to supplement that money by offering friends another way to help out.”
