Samuel in North Haven, Connecticut
How did your pet come into your life?
I met Samuel Clemens (named after Mark Twain) at the shelter Branford Compassion Club, where I volunteer at when I can. I went to a donation drive to drop off food along with my parents and the second we saw him we were drawn to him. He was beautiful and sweet, but he also was the colors of our beloved dog who had passed a few months prior. We felt it was meant to be and adopted him on the spot.
When did your pet come into your life?
We adopted Samuel 5 months ago.
Tell us about Samuel! What are his favorite things?
Samuel is a very loving kitty whose personality is very much like a dog in some ways. He loves attention and snuggles, and goes under blankets with us on particular nights. He also loves to snuggle with his older fur-sisters. Of course, since he is still a baby he is very curious. He loves toys that are sparkly tinsel balls or stuffies and a warm lap to lay in.
What's your ideal day with Samuel?
Samuel and I love rainy days that we can stay on the couch under blankets and watch movies.
Do you have a special animal rescue or shelter you'd like to mention?
Branford Compassion Club is the place that I found my little Samuel and they are absolutely wonderful.
